Men Second At America East - Jochen Dieckfoss Repeats As Individual Champion
Jochen Dieckfoss (#28) Goes On To Win
Jochen Dieckfoss ran a controlled race, towards the front the entire race, and surged to an eight second margin of victory over the final 500 meters in defense of his individual title as conference champion. The team fell just short of defending its conference title in a close battle with the University of New Hampshire, with a score of 50 points to their 46 points.
For the Terriers, Jordan Jones had a career best type of run while finishing sixth place in 25:12. Dan Coval, running his first race in over a year, churned out a creditable 25:23, good for tenth. Liam Revell stormed home over the final 100 meters to land up in the thirteenth spot in 25:25. Closing out our scorers was Robert Wong in 20th. in 25:31, with Paul Ryan immediately behind him in 25:32.
